First steps with Anchor and your trial.

  • What is Anchor?Anchor is Pinevon’s AI Business Operating System: a catalog, inventory, quotation and order system with a grounded AI assistant for your customers and another for you, the owner.
  • How do I start using Anchor?Create a Pinevon account, open Anchor and follow the five-step onboarding: business, website and branding, products, widget and install, then test.
  • What are the onboarding steps in Anchor?Onboarding has five steps: Business, Website and branding, Products, Widget and install, and Test.
  • Do I need a website to use Anchor?No. Anchor embeds an AI widget into a website you already have, but you can use the dashboard, catalog, quotes and orders without one, and connect messaging channels instead.
  • How long is the Anchor free trial?Every Anchor plan starts with a 14-day free trial with all features. The trial has already started when you finish onboarding.
  • What can I do in the first week with Anchor?Add or import your products, set stock counts, brand and install the widget, connect a channel, and record a few sales so the daily brief and analytics have real data to work with.
  • Which countries, currencies and languages does Anchor support?Country, currency, language and timezone are per-business settings you choose when creating your business; Anchor does not assume one market.
  • What kind of business is Anchor built for?Anchor is built for businesses that sell a catalog of products: retail, home and living, beauty, food, handmade goods, wholesale, electronics, books and similar.
  • Can I try Anchor before adding my real products?Yes. Add a few sample products and use the Test step or the live preview under Business Website to see what customers would see.
  • Where do I open the Anchor app?Go to anchor.pinevon.com, or use Open app in the Pinevon site menu. Sign in with your Pinevon account.
  • Do I sign in to Anchor separately from Pinevon?No. Anchor uses your Pinevon account, so one login works for both. Signing in on Pinevon lets you open Anchor already signed in.
  • Does Anchor replace my website or checkout?No. Anchor adds an AI assistant to your existing website and manages catalog, quotes and orders. It does not replace your storefront or take payments at checkout.
