Stock levels, low-stock alerts and tracking.

  • How do I see my stock levels?Open Inventory for stock across your active catalog, with search and a filter for low stock.
  • What does Not tracked mean on a product?Not tracked means no stock count is kept for that product, so it never shows as out of stock and is not part of low-stock alerts.
  • How do I update a product’s stock?In Catalog choose Inventory on the product row and set the stock, or record sales, which reduce stock automatically.
  • What is the low-stock threshold?Products at or below the threshold appear as low stock in Inventory and Analytics, and can trigger restock suggestions.
  • Why does a product show Out of stock?Its tracked stock is zero. Add stock in Inventory, or turn off tracking if you do not manage stock for it.
  • Does recording a sale change my stock?Yes for tracked products: the quantity sold is taken from stock when the sale is recorded.
  • What is stock-out risk in the daily brief?It estimates when a product may run out from its recent sales rate and current stock, for example "about 6 days". It is an estimate, and the brief shows the data window it used.
  • What is dead stock?Products in stock with no sales for a set number of days. The daily brief flags them so you can decide what to do.
  • Does Anchor sync stock with other systems?Not automatically. Anchor holds its own inventory; update it in Anchor or import changes with a spreadsheet.
  • Can the assistant tell customers whether an item is in stock?Yes, from your tracked stock. If stock is not tracked or is missing, the assistant will not claim availability it cannot support.
