Connect a messaging channel

Meet customers on Telegram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram or email.

Before you start: An account with the channel provider.

Choose the easiest first

Telegram is free and needs no app review: create a bot with @BotFather and paste its token under Channels → Telegram. Email needs only an address name.

Meta channels

Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram use a Meta app: you supply page or account IDs and access tokens from Meta. WhatsApp also needs a verified WhatsApp Business number. Those are set up with Meta, not in Anchor.

After connecting

Conversations from every channel appear in Conversations. Test each channel with a real message before announcing it.
