The short answer
Automation with AI means software notices something (a slow product, a quiet quote, low stock), drafts what to do, and either does it or asks you.
Automating reading and drafting is low risk. Automating actions that affect customers or money should keep a person’s approval.
What Anchor does about it
Anchor’s automation writes suggestions such as restock ideas, follow-ups and anomalies to an approval queue. Nothing is sent or changed until you approve it.
Limits to know
- A custom workflow builder is planned but not available. Automation today is Anchor’s built-in approval-gated suggestions.
Common questions
- Can Anchor act without my approval?
- No. High-consequence actions are proposed and wait for you.
- Can I build my own workflows?
- Not yet. A workflow builder is planned with no date.
