What Anchor suggests
From your orders, quotes and stock, Anchor can draft three kinds of suggestion. Each one waits in an approval queue with a short explanation and a risk level. Nothing in this queue happens on its own.
- A follow-up message for a quote that has had no reply.
- A restock suggestion for a product that may run out.
- An alert about unusual sales.
What approving each one does
- Follow-up message: approving sends one message, as your team, into the customer’s existing conversation on the channel it came from. If you edit the draft, your edited version is what is sent.
- Restock suggestion: approving records your decision. Anchor has no purchasing integration, so it does not order stock; you do that yourself.
- Sales alert: approving records that you have seen and accepted it. Nothing is sent.
Who can approve, and what they approve
Only an owner or admin of the business can approve or reject. The approval is tied to the exact text and details the reviewer was shown: if the suggestion changes before it is approved, the approval is refused, so what runs is what was reviewed. Past decisions stay in the action history.
Other places a person stays in charge
- A quote becomes an order only when the customer accepts it.
- Staff replies in Conversations are written and sent by a person.
- Recording an in-person sale never processes a payment.
Illustrative example: reviewing a follow-up
A made-up wholesale shop, to show the review step.
- Step 1: A quote for 40 desk organisers has had no reply for four days, so Anchor drafts a short follow-up.
- Step 2: The owner opens the approval queue, reads the draft and changes the wording to mention a delivery date they can meet.
- Step 3: The owner approves. Anchor sends the edited message into the customer’s conversation, and the action history records who approved it and when.
A review checklist
- Is the customer, quote or product the right one?
- Is every fact in the draft true today (price, stock, dates)?
- Would you be happy to send this message yourself?
- For restock suggestions: does your own knowledge (a promotion, a supplier delay) change the answer?
- If in doubt, reject it. You can always act yourself.
Limits
- Which suggestions appear depends on your plan and on the order, quote and stock data available.
- Suggestions are drafts produced with the help of AI and can be wrong or badly timed.
- Approval covers the actions listed here. It does not describe every automatic process, such as the assistant’s replies to customers or scheduled emails you have switched on.
